Petrolia Squires vs Milverton 4 Wheel Drives

The Petrolia Squires split a pair against Milverton in a home and away series this past weekend.  On Saturday the Squires traveled to Milverton and suffered a 4 - 2 loss.  The next day it was Milverton on the road to Petrolia and were sent home with an  8 - 5 loss.

In Sunday's game Jason Polera racked up the points scoring a total of 4 goals and earning 2 assists. Polera's final goal was an empty netter.  Craig Laframboise earned a 4 point game scoring a single and assisting on three.  Brad Cooper and Scott Hull each scored a single in the win.

After the first period the Squires were trailing 2 - 1 but bounced back with 4 goals in the second and three in the third.  Milverton scored 2 in the second and added 1 in the third.

Darryl Foster earned the win for the Squires making a total of 32 saves.  Tyler Huston took the loss with 24.

Next up the Squires are back at home on Friday Jan 8 when they host Monkton at 8:30 pm at the Greenwood Recreation Centre.
