Petrolia Squires vs Monkton Wildcats

The Petrolia Squires held on to take a 3 - 2 win over Monkton on Friday night in Petrolia.  Powerplay goal by Mike Perry in the first gave the Squires the lead at the end of one.  In the second the Squries bounce to 3 - 0 lead with Criag Laframboise and Carson Simpson scoring.  Monkton first goal came :08 seconds later by Kyle Verberne.  The period ended with Petrolia leading 3 - 1.

In the third with just over 4 minutes off the clock Verberne scored the second goal for Monkton on a powerplay, however the Squires would hold out for the rest of the game to take the win.  Justin Day took the win for the Squires making a total of 34 saves.  Andrew Daub was in for the loss with 22 saves.
