Petrolia Squires vs Lucan/Ilderton

The Petrolia Squires shut out the Lucan Ilderton Jets 4 - 0  in game seven to win the Western Ontario Sr AA South Division Series final.

Action in the first period saw no scoring and at 8:21 into the second Ryan Chapman scored for the Squires assisted by Jason Polera and Scott Hull.  Period two remained with the Squires leading with the single goal.

Third period action saw the Squires score three unanswered goals to secure the win. Craig Laframboise opened the scoring in the third with Kyle Gould and Carson Simpson assisting.   James Edgar went on to score the second third period goal from Pat Sutton and Mitch Zavitz  and the final goal of the night and his second goal by Craig Laframboise from Scott Hull.

The Squires outshot the Jets 51 to 28.  Justin Day earned the shutout win and K.J. Robinson took the loss  making a total of 47 saves.

The Petrolia Squries now advance to the WOAA Sr League final against North Division Winner Elora Rocks.
