Petrolia hosted the Goderich
Pirates in Petrolia last evening and took an 8 - 4 win.
Petrolia led 4 - 0 heading into the third period with 3
goals in the first and a single in the second. In
the third period a total of 8 goals were scored, 4
by both teams. The Pirates scored one powerplay
goal and the Squires score one shorthanded goal in the
third.
Petrolia outshot Goderich by
46 - 19. Darryl Foster took the win for the
Squires and Brad Powell suffered the loss in net for the
Pirates.
Next up the Squires are back
at home on October 30 when they host Lucan-Ilderton at
8:00 pm at the Greenwood Recreation Centre in Petrolia.
