Four Sarnia Legionnaires have scored 20 or more points so far this season, statistics released by the Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League show.
The team, which travels to St. Thomas tonight (Sunday, Nov. 22) to face the Stars, has played 25 games, or exactly half its 50-game schedule.
Chase Clark leads the club with 26 points, including eight goals and 18 assists. Right behind him is Captain Tyler Cicchini, with a dozen goals and 11 helpers for 23 points.
Jesse Drydak, who leads the team in goals with 13, is in third spot with a total of 21 points. Also in the 20-point club is Owen Rogers, who has blinked the red light seven times while setting up 13 other scores.
Joel Steeves has nine goals and 10 assists, leaving him one point shy of the 20 point plateau.
Tanner Tomlinson is sixth in team scoring with 16 points (four goals and 12 helpers).
Playmaking ace Shawn Waldie, who has played only 15 games since joining the team, has an impressive 15 points (four goals and 11 assists).
Even more remarkable are the offensive numbers being put up by defenceman Anthony Donati. Although he has played only six games, the big blueliner is tied for eighth in team scoring with 10 points. Included in his totals are seven goals and three assists. Andy Sokol also has 10 points, courtesy of seven goals and three setups.
In 10th place is Tanner Ferguson, the 16-year-old rearguard with one goal and eight assists to his credit.
