The Sarnia Lady Sting
Midget AA team had
another winning weekend
taking both the home and
away game.
Saturday the Sting were
home to play the
Brantford Ice Cats for
their first meeting.
Sarnia played a really
strong game threw all
three periods easily
winning 2-0. Sierra
Butler opened the
scoring with a bullet in
the back corner of the
net. She was assisted by
Marlowe Pecora and
Shauna McPhail. Although
they had a ton of
attempts, the Sting
never scored again until
late in the third. It
was a lone goal by
Jillian Rops. Cassie
Kerrigan earned herself
yet another shutout to
assist with the win.
The Sting travelled to
London to face the
Devilettes on Sunday.
Coming away with a 3-2
win. Stats were not
available at this time.
