The Wallaceburg Lakers took
a win and a loss in recent action.

On Saturday Sept 18 the Lakers travelled to Kingsville
and took a 2 - 1 loss with Tyson Isaac scoring the lone
Laker goal. Wallaceburg penalty kill appeared to
working well as they fought off 9 out of 10 Comets
powerplay. Wallaceburg went scoreless in 4
powerplay opportunities.
On Wednesday
the Lakers hosted the Belle River
Canadian's and earned their first shut
out for the season with a 2 - 0 win.
Matt Berglund played strong between the
pipes earning his first shutout of the
season.
Both teams
went scoreless in the first two periods.
Shawn Lubbers and Rob Pollock scored the
2 goals for the Laker's in the 3rd
period.
