Donkers
led the Police offence scoring four goals and adding an assist!
In game one:
The
Mechanical Contractors edged out Tim Hortons 9-5 with the help from
Darcy Paradis who scored a hat trick and added an assist. Matt Pereira
notched a pair of goals and added an assist in his efforts while Tyler
Harris and Andrew Labarre each scored a goal and an assist. Jon Najim
and Cory Olsen rounded out the scoring with a single marker apiece.
Travis Mullen chipped in with three helpers. Goalie Brent Maheu picked
up the win in net for the Contractors. Shawn Waldie relied with a pair
of goals and a pair of assists for Tim Hortons. Joey Burt supplied two
goals and one helper while Andrew Burt rounded out the scoring with one.
Goalie Dyllon Metzler provided his services in net for Tim Hortons.
In game two:
After
dropping three straight games, due to a short bench, the Sarnia Police
Association acquired two new players which helped their cause as they
ousted the Optimist Club 15-6. Ray Donkers led the Police offence
scoring four goals and adding an assist. Taylor Wilson also had a strong
performance scoring a hat trick and earning a pair of assists in his
efforts. New comer William Brandon found the back of the net twice and
set up three others. Colin Epps chipped in scoring twice and adding two
helpers. Stephen Anderson also notched a pair of goals and added one
helper. Cody McEachen picked up a single marker and three assists while
new comer Zach Lippiatt chipped in with a goal and two assists. Goalie
Cody Chute earned the win in net with a solid performance. Both Mike
Nimo and Greg Vannieuwenhuyze replied twice for team Optimist while Luke
Janson scored a goal and added an assist in the cause. Tyler Ryan
rounded out the scoring with one. Assists went to Nick Atkinson and
Travis Harper both with two while Brett Morreau had one. Goalie Dyllon
Metzler, in his second game of the night, provided his services between
the pipes for team Optimist.
In game three:
Bean’Stock continues their winning ways as the defeat the Royal Canadian
Legion 10-7. Both teams were tied at four apiece but a depleted bench
for the Royal Canadian Legion cost them the game as they played majority
of the game with only five skaters because of equipment malfunction.
Parker Simpson picked up a hat trick in his efforts for Bean’Stock.
Both Joel Workman and Jordan Pennesi scored twice and added three
assists while Christian Gilfoyle notched a pair of goals and a pair of
assists. Nicholas Newman chipped in with a goal and an assist. Ryan
Jennings got on the score sheet with one assist. Goalie Chris Weir
picked up his fourth straight win for Bean’Stock. Both Nick Powell and
D’Arcy Brown answered with two goals and one assist each for the Legion.
Kevin Hall, Darby MacKinnon and John Faulkner each scored once and added
a helper. Dave Maczko picked up a pair of assists in the cause.
Goaltender Miles Gillings had an outstanding performance as he faced a
lot of shots. |
