Tim Hortons
continues to hold down top spot in the Sarnia Minor Athletic
Midget-Juvenile Inline house league after winning 13-7 over the Sarnia
Police Association. Curt Caudle scored four goals and added two assists
while Joey Burt notched four goals and one assist for Tim Hortons.
Brandon Biggers picked up three goals and two assists in his efforts.
Brett Moss rounded out the scoring with a pair. Helping out with the
assists were Shawn Waldie with five, Melanie Irwin with two and Andrew
Burt chipped in with one. Goalie Dyllon Metzler provided his service in
net for Tim Hortons and earned the win. Colin Epps replied with three
goals and an assist for the Sarnia Police. Graeme Wattie notched a pair
of goals while Ray Donkers earned a goal and an assist. Taylor rounded
out the scoring with a single. Additional assists went to Jordan
Franchuk with two while both Devon Ring and Stephen Anderson supplied
one. Goalie Miles Gillings provided his services in net for the Police.
LanXess and
the Royal Canadian Legion both had a record of 0-3 before headed into
this contest however it was LanXess who prevailed with a 12-4 win. Derek
Nap led the offence from LanXess with a hat trick and two assists. Chris
Brown scored a hat trick and one assist while Jason Teschke also found
the back of the net three times. Kraig Wright notched a goal and three
assists and Mike Myers chipped in with a goal and two assists. Jeff
Paulley rounded out the scoring with one. Getting on the score sheet
with helpers were Derek Foubister with two, Ryan Metzler and Andreas
Lacey each had one. Goalie Dyllon Metzler, in his second game of the
night picked up another win. Kevin Hall, from team Legion, opened the
scoring minutes into the contest on a penalty shot. Kyle Bucheridge,
D’Arcy Brown and Dave Maczko were the other marksman for the Legion.
Both Jace Galloway and Zach Lippiatt chipped in with one assist apiece.
Goalie Miles Gillings, in his second game of the night, faced a lot of
shots during the contest.
May 21st
Despite
having no goalie, LamSar played five on four and topped the Mechanical
Contractors 18-11 with the help from Mitch Coultes who scored six goals
and added three assists in his efforts. Dustin Ireson also had a solid
effort for LamSar as he notched five goals and added a pair of helpers.
Brandon Moore scored twice and set up five others while Jamie Aikin
chipped in with a pair of goals and a pair of assists. Jon Najim
supplied a goal and three assists and Eric Hicks scored once and added
one assist. James Keddy was the other marksman. Ryan Glover chipped in
with an assist. Matt Pereira answered with four goals and set up three
others in his efforts for the Contractors. Travis Mullen found the back
of the net three times and also had three helpers. Kevin Acton scored
twice and earned three assists while Andrew Labarre rounded out the
scoring with a pair of goals. Tyler Harris got on the score sheet with
two assists. Goalie Brent Maheu faced a lot of shots during this
contest.
The
Optimist Club came out flying and never looked back as they defeated
Bean’Stock 12-8. John Faulkner scored five goals in his efforts for team
Optimist. Mike Nimo supplied three goals and two assists while Tyler
Ryan chipped in with a pair of goals and a pair of assists. Travis
Harper rounded out the scoring with a pair of goals. Earning helpers
were Nick Atkinson with three, Luke Janson with two and Jake McPhail had
one. Goalie Christopher Cheong continues to shine as he picked up the
win. After being held off the score sheet in his last game Jordan
Pennesi led Bean’Stock's offence with a pair of goals and a pair of
assists. Joel Workman scored twice and added an assist while Christian
Gilfoyle earned a goal and three assists. Singles went to Nicholas
Newman, Ryan Jennings and Brent Sauve. Both Darby MacKinnon and Cameron
Waters chipped in with an assist each. Goalie Gary Ryan was called upon
to provide his services in net for Bean’Stock.
