Picking up the win for London was Craig Wende and taking the loss for the Pacers was Greg Krstic.

1st Period:  Sarnia opened the scoring just 2:35 into the game on an unassisted marker by Jimmy Purves.  London replied with one of their own on a Dustin Deleary goal at the 8:55 mark with helpers to Gavin Moynaugh and Mike Watson.  Sarnia found themselves in penalty trouble down by two runners at the 13:51 mark and played five on three ball for 58 seconds.  The Blue Devils took the lead in the game at the 17:32 mark and never relinquished it.  Notching the goal was Ian King from Deleary.  Giving London a two goal lead at 18:23 was Dustin Moynaugh with assists to Brendan Beauvis and Winter Dockstader.  The In Motion Pacers got one of those back just 21 seconds later on a Chris Theoret marker with assists to Riley Thompson and Jesse Thompson.  Shots on goal: London - 16   Sarnia - 12.  London had the only power play chances and were 0 for 2 this period.

 

2nd Period:  The Blue Devils would score three times before Sarnia notched their single during this 20 minutes of play.  It began with a Matt Cassidy goal at the 39 seconds mark and picking up the lone assist was Steve Kewley.  Then at 7:23 it was Scott Watson scoring from Winter Dockstader and Matt Cassidy.  An unassisted, short-handed goal was next and it came off the stick of Ian King.  At this point Sarnia's Greg Krstic was assess a five minute slashing major and the Pacers made a goaltender change to Justin Matthews. Less than a minute and a half later, Chris Theoret picked off the ball, charged down the floor and bulged the netting for a short-handed goal and got Sarnia back to within three.  It was as close as the Pacers would get for the rest of the game.  Shots on goal:  London - 17/33   Sarnia - 8/20.  London was 0 for 2 on the power play and Sarnia was 0 for 1 with the man advantage this period.
 

3rd Period:  Once again London opened the scoring with a goal at the 2:19 mark, this one was a Kyle Childerhose goal from Dustin Deleary and Josh Wilson.  Sarnia's Mike Butler replied with one six seconds later to the delight of the home crowd.  Assisting on the goal was Jesse Thompson.  A Josh Wilson goal at 7:24 completed the scoring for the Blue Devils and picking up assists were Ian King and Steve Kewley.  Sarnia's final goal was almost four minutes later and it was a Riley Thompson goal from Chris Theoret and Jahn Budziewicz.  During the last 2 or 3 minutes of the period, Sarnia pulled their goalie for an extra runner each time they had possession of the ball in London's end in an attempt to get more on the board.  Pacers' Justin Matthews certainly got a workout running back and forth between the bench and his net.  Shots on goal:  London - 20/53   Sarnia - 9/29. London had no power play chances this period and were 0 for 4 this game.  Sarnia was 0 for 1 with the man advantage this period and were 0 for 2 in the game.
