Mohawks Put A Beating on
Pacers in Elora

Sarnia's Justin Matthews
took the loss for the Pacers in
this evening's contest.
After 20 minutes of play the
score was 6-1 in favour of Elora.
The lone Pacers goal came at the
13:19 mark and was scored by
Jimmy Purves with assists
from Riley Thompson and
Jesse Thompson.
In the second period of play,
Sarnia made a goaltender change
to Greg Krstic at the
6:19 remaining and a score of
8-1 for the hometown Mohawks.
The Pacers did get a goal this
period and it came at 9:49 of
the period. Scoring the goal
was Riley Thompson with
an assist to Jesse Thompson.
The score at the end of 40
minutes of play was 10-2 in
favour of Elora.
In the third period Elora
continue put up the wall not
allowing Sarnia to score and
added 5 more goals to end the
game with a total of 15.
Very few penalties were called
this game with Elora taking 6
minutes in penalties while the
Pacers took 8 minutes.
In the upcoming week the
In Motion Pacers play three
games. On Wednesday the 28the
they host an 8:00 game against
the Wallaceburg Red Devils. On
Friday the 30th they travel to
Welland for a 7:00 p.m. game.
The final day of this month -
May 31st a Saturday - finds Owen
Sound visiting for a 7:00 p.m.
game at the Clearwater Arena.
