The PeeWee Pacers traveled
to Windsor on Saturday to
battle the league leading
Windsor Warlocks on their
home turf. On a warm and
muggy day the teams left it
all on the floor with both
teams earning a victory in
the two games played.
Game 1 resulted in a 5-1
victory for the Pacers and
was highlighted by a great
defensive effort by the
players and some solid
goaltending from Brayden
Bell. Scoring in the game
was provided by Jack Dunn
with 2 and singles to Kyle
Vince, Jacob Caughlin and
Brett Barnes. Assisting on
the goals were Nolan Coats,
Logan Scott, Patrick Wright,
Dunn and Vince.
In Game 2 a few hours later
the Pacers would come out
flat and fall behind 3-0 in
the first five minutes of
the contest. Despite turning
things around they could not
battle back and would
eventually fall to the
Warlocks by a final score of
5-3. Scoring for the Pacers
were Caughlin, Barnes and
Vince with assists to Scott,
Kaden Fulcher and Dylan
Lavoie. Cody Haas was solid
in net to give the Pacers a
chance to keep things close.
