Sarnia Tyke Pacers vs. Windsor Tyke Warlocks

10am Game

The Windsor Warlocks travelled to Sarnia for a two-game day. The Warlocks came prepared and were demonstrating some great cross-checking, passing and catching, thus helping them take the lead early in the game.  Both teams saw the penalty box in the first period. AP Tyler Caron played some good defence but by the end of the first period, the Warlocks were up 5-0.

The Pacers became increasing frustrated in the second period. Both teams saw the penalty box again for roughing. The Warlocks would go on to score another eight goals this period. Tyler Caron scored the first goal for the Pacers.  Carter Barron had several shots on net but the Warlocks strong defence would prevail.

Barron kept up his speed in the third period and scored two goals unassisted. The Warlocks scored three more goals. The Warlocks were on their game today and took the win 16-3.

1pm Game

After lunch, the Pacers picked up their speed, however, some players were still frustrated and more time would be spent in the penalty box for both teams.

The Warlocks ultimately outran the Pacers in the first period, scoring five goals. Again, Barron had lots of shots on net, but no success.

The Warlocks scored another two goals in the second period. Then, out of nowhere, a fight on the floor erupted and this would result in penalties for both teams. The Pacers first six minute penalty!

The Pacers kept fighting for the ball in the third period and Christian Spitzig scored two goals, one assisted by Tyler Caron and one unassisted. Carter Barron also scored, unassisted.
