In the regular round British
Columbia was tied for second spot with Ontario A. With

the two teams played a tie breaker earlier on the final day where Ontario
A won to earn them a spot in the
Gold Medal Game and British Columbia playing for the Bronze.
For New Brunswick the team was close behind with a total of
11 points for a total of 5 wins, 1 tie and 3 losses.
In the regular round when these two
teams met British Columbia defeated New Brunswick by a single
point
for a final score of 12 - 11. In the Bronze Medal game the
same situation but reversed.
In this nail biter of a match New Brunswick took the win by a
single point for a final score of 20 - 19.
Going into the 16th end British Columbia was leading
by a single point. In the final end New
Brunswick was sitting with the single point but
needed 1 more to take the win. In an
anticipated twist New Brunswick had a bowl sitting
on it's edge and all it would take was it to fall
forward to put it into scoring a position
New Brunswick had the final thrown and as the skip was lining
himself up to take the throw the bowl
fell forward to give New Brunswick the win!
