All three men are members of the Wanderers Lawn Bowling
Club in Halifax. This is the first Seniors Triple
event that they have participated in as a team.
Jack is heading for the Singles competition in Montreal
later this month. Jack is still working as a Taxi
Driver. Graham is a retired Mechanical Engineer
and Serge is retired from the CBC French & English.
The threesome expressed that they have enjoyed their
stay in Sarnia and hats off to the organizors on a very
successful tournament. |
Mary Cooke (Skip), Maureen Boudreau,
Bernadette Beaver
The Nova Scotia Ladies Team are all members of the
Dartmouth Lawn Bowling Club and have been playing
together for 2 years. This is also their second
time
competing in Triples. They have also competed in
the Provicial fours competition. All three Ladies
are retired, Mary was a Registered Dietician working in
Health Care. Maureen was a Supervisor in Payroll
before retiring from Canada Post and Bernadette was a
bookkeeper before retirement.
Both Mary and Maureen are very invlolved with their home
club as both are Past President and continue to work on
the executive. |
