(Skip) Bill Stevenson
The Team Ontario A Men's team are attending their
1st Sr's National Event. Skip Joe Green who's
hometown is Toronto Bowls out of the Balmy Bowling Club
along with Lead Bill Stevenson who's hometown is
Scarbourg. Al Ferguson is from Markham and
his home club is the Agincourt Lawn Bowling Club.
Joe has been bowling for 27 years, with Bill having 18
years on the greens and the last member Al Ferguson has
been bowling for 45 years. All three men are retired.
Skip Joe Green is off to the Mix Provincials being held
in Ottawa as soon as he's finished with the Seniors
event. The Mixed event starts on Saturday. |

Helen Wright, Elizabeth Ghosh
The Team Ontario A have been playing for 2 years as a
team and this is their first appearance at the Sr
Nationals. All three members are from Toronto and
their home club is the James Gardens Lawn Bowling Club.
Skip Jeanne Christie has been bowling for 19 years and
have won gold twice with partner Helen Wright in
Provincial Pairs competition. Elizabeth has won
Silver in Provincial Mixed Competition previously
and she too is heading for Ottawa as soon as the
Competition is over in Sarnia for the Provincial Mixed
Competition. The winner of the Ottawa tournament
moves on to the National Tournament that will be held in
Fredericton, New Brunswick later this summer.
