PROVINCIAL SENIORS LAWN BOWLING CHAMPIONSHIPS

 The Sarnia Lawn Bowling hosted the Senior Provincial Treble Championships.

Men's Gold Team

Taking Gold in the Men's Division was Grant Fletcher, Les Cassidy and David Smith from District 16.
Silver was won by District 13 with team members John Wilson, John Ferguson and Murray Taylor.
Silver Papais, Ron Gregory, Teake Veenstra from District 3 took the Bronze Medal was won by District 3

Ladies Gold Team

In the Ladies Division the Gold was won by District 6 with Katherine Smith, Heather Pettit and Vi Hirst earning the gold.
The Silver was won by District 9 that included Donna McCallum, Mary Meldrum and Heather Comba.
Jo Anne Bugler, Maureen Thompson and Carol Carter from District 4 took the Bronze.

Both teams from Sarnia were knocked out on the first day after some great Bowling.  The men won their 1st game and lost 2.  The  Ladies lost their first 2 games and were knocked out.
