On
Saturday for game 2 of the home/home
series the Flags scored their first
goal and only goal just over the 2
minute mark. Matt Beer scored
the goal assisted by Adam Tescke and
Mike Burns. The action
continue in the first and ended with
the Flags leading by one. |
 |
In
the second the Flyers came back and
scored three unanswered goals to
take the 3 - 1 lead. With many
chances the Flags just couldn't find
the back of the net and in the final
minutes of the game with the extra
man attacker the Flyers held them
off to head home with the win. |
After the game the
team and families met for a Christmas gathering
where a special guest joined the group to hand
out some early Christmas presents to the Team.

Everyone was amazed that the jolly old fellow
could make a special stop because this is
the busiest time of year for Santa!
 |
After
handing out the presents Rudolf was
getting restless up on the roof top
so Santa had to make a quick
departure. But before he left
he wished everyone a
Very Merry Christmas!

The Mooretown Flags
Staff, Players and their families would like to
wish everyone
a Happy and Safe Holiday Season.
The team looks forward to seeing you out to
their final game in 2007 that will be played at
home on December 29 at 7:30 against Dresden. |
