Mooretown Flags vs Alvinston Flyers

The Mooretown Flags was dealt a major blow on Wednesday night losing game 3
with a final score of 8 - 1 in Great Lakes Jr. C playoffs against the Alvinston Flyers.
 

Alvinston scored 2 goals in the 1st period, 5 goals in the second and a single in the third.
The Flags single goal was scored on a powerplay in the third period with Matt Beer scoring
assisted by Matt Harkins and Joe Guenther.
 

Mooretown went 1 for 6 on the powerplay, Alvinston went 2 for 5. 
Total shots on net:  Mooretown 39 -  Alvinston 36.

Alvinston leads the series 2 game to 1.  The team returns to Alvinston for game 4 on
Friday Feb 22 for an 8:00 pm puck drop.
