Mooretown Flags vs Alvinston Flyers

Game 7
Flags Wins Series!

The Mooretown Flags traveled to Alvinston on Friday for game seven in the first
playoff round and shut out the Flyers with a final score of 2 - 0.

The Flags scored late in the first period to take the lead and what turn out to be the
game winning goal by Joe Guenther assisted by Elliott Lewis and Matt Beer. 
No scoring in the second period and it took a third period goal to seal the deal as
Jordan Pennesi scored from Joe Guenther and Mike Burns. 
Jeff Steadman was solid in net earning the shutout.
 

The Flags will go up against the Wallaceburg Lakers for the North Division Final.
In the regular season The Flags went 1 - 4 - 1 (OTL) against the Lakers.

In the South Division Final it will be it will be Essex vs Belle River.
