Mooretown Flags at Wallaceburg Lakers.

In a penalty filled game that took 2 pages on the Lakers side of the game sheet the Flags lost with a final 9 - 4.

The score after the first period of play was Lakers 4 - Flags 2 with Jordan Pennesi and Tyler Fraser scoring for the Flags.

In the second period both sides added a pair with the Flags scoring both on powerplays with Donny Bowling scoring both goals.

In the third the Lakers scored 3 unanswered goals 2 on powerplays to finish the game with the final 9 - 4 win.

The Flags are back at home on Saturday night (Sept 29) when they host the Dresden Kings. This will be the second meeting between the two teams.  In the first the Flags took the win with a score of 5 - 2.  Game time begins at 7:30 at the Moore Recreation Centre.
