Mooretown falls
Game three, in hockey circles, is the
pinnacle game of a seven game series. The
Mooretown Flags didn't get that memo as they
fell to the Wallaceburg Lakers 5-1.
For the second game in a row the Lakers
never trailed. They opened the scoring late
in the first and never looked back,
including scoring three goals in the third.
Josh Teschke scored the lone goal for the
Flags. Donny Bowling and Clark MacPherson
assisted on Teschke's second goal in as many
games.
Five different Lakers posted markers in the
game. Goals went to Rob Pollock, Orland
Hopkins, Trevor Vandenberg, Jordan Franchuk
and Chris Lalonde.
The two teams will meet up again tomorrow in
Wallaceburg at 7:30 p.m. The Series shifts
back to Mooretown on Feb. 21.
