Mooretown at Dresden

The Flags traveled to Dresden in their first game of the weekend and came home with a 5 - 1 loss.  Dresden went up 1 - 0 in the first period after scoring a shorthanded goal by Brent Shaw.

In the second period Joe Deboer scored twice and Joel Stepniak added a single to take a comanding 4 - 0 lead.

Just :52 seconds into the third Mike Burns scored from Clark MacPherson and Jordan Pennesi to put the Flags on the scoreboard.  But it wasn't enough after Jim Rouse scored the final Dresden goal to coast to the end taking the win.

Mooretown went 0 for 2 on the powerplay while Dresden went 0 for 5.

Justin Belanger was in net for the Flags making a total of 27 saves.  For the win it was Eric Steinman with 25 saves total.
