The Flags went 1 and 1 over the weekend with back to back games Friday and Saturday night.
 

Mooretown at Belle River
 

In the first game on Friday the Flags travelled to Belle River and came home with a 7 - 1 loss.

Belle River scored 1 in the first added 5 unanswered goals in the second and a final goal in the third.  Donny Bowling scored the lone goal for the Flags assisted by Mike Burns.

 

Mooretown went 0 for 8 on the powerplay and Belle River went 1 for 4.

Mooretown vs Blenheim

Saturday's home game on Saturday saw Blenheim take a 2 - 0 lead with the first goal being scored shorthanded.  Late in the period Aaron Schieman scored for the Flags to narrow the gap with Jordan Pennesi and Spencer Lightfoot assisting.

Second period action it was all Flags as they went on to score three unanswered goals.  Mike Burns scored 2 the first assisted by Josh Teschke and the second from Donny Bowling and Josh Teschke.  Spencer Lightfoot
scored the second goal in the period on the powerplay assisted by Aaron Schieman and Adam Little.

Third period action Josh Teschke added the final goal of the game assisted by Donny Bowling and Alex Dawson to give the Flags the 5 - 2 win.

Mooretown went 1 for 7 on the powerplay - Blenheim went 0 for 8.

Next week the Flags take on Alvinston for a home/home game series with the first game in Alvinston on Friday at 8:00 pm and back at home on Saturday for a 7:30 pm puck drop.
