You can just imagine what it was like in the dressing room between the 2nd and 3rd period, but whatever was said it worked as the Flags fought back and ended up tying the game 6 - 6 at the end of regulation time sending the game into overtime.

Scoring in the third were Josh Teschke from Adam Little and Roy Keane lit the lamp at 9:54.  Alvinston ran into penalty troubles from this point on as the powerplay lines took control and scored the 4 remaining goals in the period.  Travis Mullin scored the first powerplay unassisted at 13:07.  Almost three minutes later at 16:01 Josh Teschke scored his second goal assisted by Travis Mullin. Aaron Schieman scored the 3rd powerplay goal assisted by Raymond Martin at 16:58 and the final goal in the third was by Rory Keane from Cody Chute and Adam Teschke at 17:29!

In overtime Mooretown outshot Alvinston 8 - 2 but all shots were stopped at each end sending the game into a shoot out to decide the game winner.  In shoot out the Flags scored 3 - 2 to take the win.
