Coming home with a shootout win the previous night the Flags were pumped for game two of the weekend.

Like the previous night it was the opposition that took the lead by scoring the first goal.  But the Flags answered back just over a minute later to even things up.  Adam Little from Josh Teschke and Mike Burns scored.  Midway into the period Blenheim would regain the lead and the period continued and ended with the Blades leading by 2 - 1.

Second period action saw the Flags dominate by scoring 3 unanswered goals in the period.  First goal was scored at the 2:15 mark by Tyler Fraser from Adam Teschke and Cody Chute.  Mike Burns scored 4 minutes later with Josh Teschke and Rory Keane adding the assists and the final Flags goal in the period was scored at 12:29 by Steve Mercier from Aaron Schieman. Period ended with the Flags leading 4 - 2.

In the third action continued and both sides were scoreless until 50 seconds left on the clock the Blades scored the only powerplay of the night to narrow the Flags lead to 1.  The Flags would hold onto that lead as the game ended giving them their second win of the weekend with a final score of 4 - 3.

Total shots on net were even for both teams with a final total of 37.  John Cruse was in net for the Flags in the win making a total of 33 saves for the night.  James Tetreault took the loss with 33 saves.

Next up!  The Flags are back at home for a midweek game on Wednesday October 8 when they host Kingsville. Game time is at 8:00 pm.
