Mooretown Flags vs Kingsville

The Mooretown Flags hosted the Kingsville Comets in an midweek affair and came up short with a 7 - 4 loss.

In the first period both sides went scoreless and in the second Mooretown hit the mark first early on a goal by Travis Harper from Spencer Lightfoot and Alex Dawson.  From that point on Kingsville went on a scoring spree and netted 5 goals before the period ended.  Chris Bondy fired in two with Ryan Rodger, Tyler Kirby and Tim Edwards (PP) each scored singles. Score heading into the third 5 - 1 Kingsville.

Kingsville continue the brutal onslaught and continued added two more in the third before Zach Anderson scored for the Flags on a powerplay with Brent Sauve and Spencer Lightfoot assisting.  Mike Burns scored the Flags third goal also on the powerplay with Jordan Pennesi and Brett Thompson assisting.  Ryan Hunt would scored the final goal of the game at 8:23 assisted by Zach Anderson. 

Jordan Glaswish took the loss for the Flags making a total of 31 saves.  At the winning end was Geoff Blanford making a total of 37 saves.

In Powerplay opportunities Mooretown went 2 for 4, Kingsville went 1 for 6.
