Mooretown Flags vs Belle
River Canadiens
After dropping a 11 - 6
decision to Wallaceburg on Wed the Belle River Canadiens
traveled to Mooretown and went away with a 7 - 4 win.
The hometown Flags had taken a 2 - 1 lead at the end of
one period after Jordan Pennesi and Jason Teschke
scoreing late in the period at 18:21 and 19:59.
The first goal by Belle River was scored 10 minutes into
the game by Robert Jardine.
Mooretown continue to lead in the second when Joe
Allison added the third goal. Belle River answered
back with a pair to tie things up heading into the
third. Scott Chauvin scored on a powerplay and
Brett Hickey scored the tying goal.
Third period saw Belle River
dominate scoring 4 goals. Mooretown manage to
split the goals in half with a single by Darby McKinnon.
Justin Brown scored a pair in the third for Belle River
with Brett Hickey adding his second of the night and a
single by Donovan Plummer.
