Netball is starting May 5th

meet on Monday nights from 7pm in Sarnia.
Ages 11 years to Adult

What
is Netball?
- a fun team sport for women
- non contact
- a pass and catch game
- a game played on a court separated into thirds
- a sport played by millions of women around the
world
- a game where you shoot a ball into a 10ft ring
with no backboard
What
are some Netball rules?
- no traveling with the ball
- no dribbling the ball
- players can only hold the ball for 3 seconds
- defenders must be 3ft away of the player with
the ball
- each player has a specific position on the
court
- only two players on each team can shoot
The idea of the program is to
introduce beginners to the sport of Netball. Each week
we will learn new skills and then play a game together.
Following the program we hope to form teams and commence
a league. Any ex-players interested in the sport but not
wanting/able to play anymore are more than welcome to
come and help with umpiring and coaching.
