Sarnia Braves Midgets eliminated from the OBA Tournament
August 5, 2012

Sarnia suffered a heartbreaking defeat to the hands of Newmarket by a score of 4-0 after 8 innings to be eliminated from the OBA Midget Elimination tournament Sunday afternoon. The score was 0-0 heading into extra innings before Newmarket took the lead with a solo homerun, a lead which they didn't surrender. Dominic Bucci pitched well for Sarnia going 7scoreless innings, having relief help from Sam Ellenor and Josh Taylor.
 
Earlier if the day Sarnia knocked out Oakville by a 4-1 score. Jake Marks went the distance allowing 3 hits while striking out 10 Oakville hitters.
The Braves finished the tourney with a 3-2 record, with both losses being in extra innings, but finishing in the final 5 of the 15 team tourney.
