Team Ontario 95, 96, 97's are Competing in State Wars International Tournament

St. Louis, MI - Local Players Hunter Bryce, Kyle and Kurtis Adams and Noland Riley are in St. Louis participating at the State Wars VIII Inline hockey Tournament.

 

1996 AAA/AA Team Ontario

Hunter Bryce is competing in the 1996 Division and the team has won all four games to take top spot in the standings race and giving them a bye leading up to the semi-finals.  In the first game on Wednesday Team Ontario defeated British Columbia 7 - 5 and later in the day took a  5 - 2 win over Southern California. Bryce earned 2 points on Wednesday with a goal in the first game and an assist in the second.

On Thursday Team Ontario took a 9 - 3 win over Illinois.  Bryce scored a single goal and earned 2 assist in the win.  In game 2 on Thursday Ontario shut out Colorado by a score of 3 - 0.   In a late Friday night game Team Ontario defeated British Columbia 5 - 2  in the semi-final match to earn Ontario a spot in the Gold Medal Game that is set to go today 

(Aug 4) at 4:00 pm against Michigan.

1995 AA/A Team Ontario     

Kurtis Adams is the Goalie for the 1995 Team Ontario Team.  Younger brother Kyle Adam (1997) and Hunter Bryce (1996) have been invited to play on 1995 team as well.

 

In the first game on Thursday Ontario hammered Louisiana 10 - 2.  Hunter Bryce scored 2 goals in the 10 - 2 win and netminder Kurtis Adams earning his first win and making a total of 12 saves in the game. 

In game two on Friday the team suffered their first loss in a close 3 - 2 score  against Northern California.  Hunter Bryce scored both goals for Ontario.  California outshot Ontario 18 - 15.  Kurtis Adams took the loss and made 15 saves in the game.

In their second game on Friday Ontario won over Michigan 7 - 1. Kyle Adams scored the final goal for Ontario shorthanded and assisted on 2 goals .  Kurtis Adams earned the win with 11 saves.

 The 1995's are back in action on Saturday when they go up against Florida at 4:00 pm.


 

1997 AAA/AA Team Ontario

Local Players Nolan Riley and Kyle Adams will begin their series on
Monday August 6 with their first game against North Carolina. 

On Tuesday they will go up against Missouri and then
later in the day they will take on Illinois. 

On Wed they meet Michigan to round out the regular schedule.
