Wallaceburg Lakers Got Thumped By Essex

Wallaceburg, On- The Wallaceburg Lakers continue to slide taking their 6th straight loss after losing 12 - 2 against Essex in Great Lakes Jr C Hockey league action.

Essex scored five goals in the first period, one in the second on a power play and six more in the third with the last two on power plays.  Wallaceburg two goals came in the second period with Brennan Rainey and Lucais Meyskens scoring.

Jordan Brohman scored four goals and assisted on two for a total of six points for the night. Matthew Herbert scored three and a single by Jordan Ryan who also assisted on four for a five point game.  Other goal scorers included Colin Moore, Colin DeLaet, Daniel McIntyre and Antonio Chiampa.

Essex outshot Wallaceburg 64 - 20.

Wallaceburg is now 7 - 17 - 0 - 2 for the season. They travel to Belle River on Friday night for a 7:30 game start.
