The Lambton Shores Predators were in Chatham Sunday night and lost to the Maroons 6 - 1 ending their five game winning streak. Chatham scored two goals in each period. Lambton Shores lone goal was scored on a power play with Cale Duberry scorring assisted by Kyler Keating and Cleo Gubbles.
Jake Flegel led Chatham scoring two goals and singles by Blake Blondeel, Brayden Hopkins, Steven Szekesy and Sean Myers.
Lambton went 1 for 4 on the power play opportunities, Chatham went 2 for 4.
Chatham outshot Lambton Shores 38 - 33. Darien Ekblad earned the win for the Maroons. Predators netminding was shared by Justin Tugwell and Brandon Campbell.
The Predators are back in action on Saturday December 15 when they host county rivals Sarnia Legionnaires who presently are just one point ahead with one game up on the Predators in the standings race. Game time at 7:30 at the Lambton Shores Recreation Centre.
