Sarnia Y Rapids 2 Compete at Northers 25th Annual Invitation Swim Meet

Sarnia Y Rapids 2 swimmers travelled to the London Canada Games Aquatic Center to race at the Nothers 25th Annual Invitational Swim Meet. Swimmers faced fierce competition from twelve other clubs from the Western Region. Congratulations to all Rapids Swimmers for some great swimming.
 

Great performances for Samuel Boily-Dufour (14) who won 8 medals at the meet. He captured 5 Gold medals in 50m Breast, Back and Fly as well as the 100m Back and 100m Free with a fast time of 55.26. He got Silver in both the 800m Free and 200m Free plus Bronze in the 200m IM.
 

Danielle, Adams (15), had a strong meet with a Gold in the 200m Free and the 1500m Free, Bronze in the 100m Fly and 50m Free.

Maddisson Hawryluk (9), won a Gold in her 50m Breast, a Silver in her 50m Back and 100m Breast and also got a Bronze medal her 200m breast.

Bethany Robinson (14) received 4 medals as well. She captured Gold in the 50m Free, Silver in the 50m Back and 50m Breast plus Bronze in the 50m Fly.

Maggie Noll (15), swam to a Silver in the 50m Breast, a Bronze in the 50m. Austin Adams (12) received a silver medal in his 100m Free.

Michael Abrametz (18), got a silver medal in the Men’s 16 & over 200m Breast.

Maude Boily-Dufour (11) won Bronze in her 50m Back.

Jack Batstone (13), received Bronze medal in the 50m Breast.

Cole, Batstone (11), was 4th in his 100m Free, 5th in his 50m Free, 6th in both the 200m IM and the 100m Back, and 8th in the 200m Back.

Owen Batstone (9), was 6th in the 50m Breast. He also swam the 50m Free and 100m Free.

Heather Baxter (15), swam to a 6th place finish in the 50m Breast, a 7th place finish in both the 50m Back and 50m Free.

Christopher Dejonghe (12), was 5th in the 50m back.

Taylor Evans (10), swam to an 8th place finish in the 50m Back and the 50m Fly.

Ashley Klingbeil (13), was 5th in her 50m Back and 7th in both 100m Back and 200m Free. She was also 8th in her 50m Breast.

Staisya Murphy (11), was 5th in the 100m Breast, 7th in the 50m Free and 50m Breast.

Laura Potter (9), received a 6th place in the 400m Free.

Warren Potter (13), was 6th in the 50m Fly and 50m Breast. He was also 7th in the 50m Back.

Hayley Robertson (13), was 6th in the 50m Breast, 7th in the 50m Back, 8th in the 50m Back.

Julia Sharkowicz (9), swam to a 6th place finish in her 50m breast .
