Predators Defeat 2nd Place Maroons

Lambton Shores - The Lambton Shores Predators won their 4th straight game and 6 of the past 7. 

 

Chatham took a 2 - 0 lead in the first period and in the second the Predators scored three unanswered goals to take 3 - 2 at the end of the second. Ryan Rotondi scored on the power play at 2:33, Cale Dueberry scored back to back goals the first at 4:33 and again at 8:15.

 

In the third Chatham came back and tied on a power play at 4:23. The Predators went on and scored two goals with Cale Dueberry scoring what turned out to be the game winner at 5:02 on the power play for his third of the night and his first Junior B hat trick.  Adam Arseneault added to final at 15:49.

 

Chatham outshot the Predators 41 - 35. Brandon Campbell was strong in net earning his 4th straight win.  Scott Tricker took the loss.

 

Chatham went 1 for 6 on the power play, Lambton Shores went 2 for 3.

 

Lambton Shores is back in action next Saturday Dec 8 when they host the St. Thomas Stars.  Game time 7:30 pm.
