Lambton Shores Were Edged Out in Leamington

Lambton Shores traveled to Leamington on Thursday and led 1 - 0 after two periods of play.  Ryan Rotondi from Adam Arseneault and Brett Thompson scored at 16:31.

The Predators held onto the lead until 1:03 in the third after Leamington's Chris Scott scored to tie the game.  Just :42 seconds later Leamington took the lead scoring a power play goal.  Dakota Olvin scored what turned out to be the game winner for the Flyers taking the win with a final score of 2 - 1.

Lambton Shores went zero for three on power plays, Leamington went one for six.

Leamington outshot the Predators 50 - 15.  Brandon Campbell made 48 saves in the game.  Austyn Roudebush kicked out 14 in the win.

The Predators are sitting in last place, however they are slowly climbing up the ladder just 3 points away from St. Marys with 2 games back and 4 points away from Sarnia with 4 games back.

The Predators have two games left to play before the Christmas break.  The first on Friday in St. Thomas at 7:00 pm then on Saturday the Predators will host LaSalle at 7:30.
