Gauthier and Marciniszyn Toss Week's High Triples

Brandon Gauthier fired 739 (249-268) in  Border City Men’s League competition at Marcin Bowl, to record the high triple in Lambton County Tenpin Association bowling action this week.

 Pam Marciniszyn, one of Sarnia’s finest female bowlers with exceptional bowling talents, recorded the women’s high triple. She has controlled the pins for the last two weeks firing solid 749 and 742 triples in the Thursday Night Mixed League at Marcin Bowl. This week was no different as she tossed 732 (255-259) to take the women’s high honours for the third straight week.

 Additional scores from the Border City Men’s League were by Shane Chipman 685 (279), Vince Peseski 669 (246), Roy Mezzatesta 647 (236), Dan Peters 638 (245), Rod Honke 257, Rob Vandermeer 254, Pat McMillan 234 and Dan Vandermeer 234. Kevin McMillan rolled 803 (258-279-266) in a bowl off. Rick Foster made a great shot converting the 4-6 split. For the second time this year, Bill Cole had five 7-10 splits.             Other ladies top scores from the Thursday Night Mixed League were Janice McMillan 554 (215), Joan Tuer 525 (200), Marsha Pinel 525 (190) and Betty Baldwin 193. The men’s notable scores were Pat McMillan 696 (246-246), Adam Pinel 661 (246-236), Al McChesney 632 (255), Buck McIver 627 (268) and Lloyd Walling 627 (234).
