The Lambton AAA Peewee are now tied with the Windsor Jr Spitfires after taking a 2 - 1 OT win in game three of the 6 point series in Alliance Minor Hockey playdown action.

The Peewee's started the series with the home game advantage.  In game 1 both sides skated to a 4 - 4 tie.  Game two was in Windsor and the Jr Sting lost in a close match with a final score of 4 - 3.

On Thursday Windsor travelled to Sarnia for game three where the visitors scored the first goal in the first period.  Bradley Vincent scored for Windsor assisted by David Pierce and Michael Michie.  In the second period Jacob Williams found the back of the net with Max Steeves assisting to even the score.  At the end of two periods both sides were even with 1 apiece.

After the third period didn't solve a game winner the two teams went into sudden death overtime.  With :15 seconds left on the clock the two teams were scrambling in front of Windsor's net when Jared Pageau found the opening to score the game winner.  Max Steeves earned the assist on the goal.

Ethan Hunt earned the win in net for the Jr. Sting.
