Arena and
came away
with a 5-0
win.Cole
Goossens
started off
the scoring
on a
backhander
along the
ice at the 5
minute mark
of the
first.
Cole’s goal
was assisted
by Nathan
Abbot and
Evan
Trigatti.
Nathan
Oliphant
added
another goal
on a nice
wrist shot
with 1:40
left in the
first from
Tyler
Talbot-Ellis
and Aiden
Clark.
At the 9
minute mark
of the
second
Spencer
Baillie
batted the
puck out of
the air and
into the
Aero’s net
with assists
being given
to Mathew
Waun and
Collin
Zimmer.
At the
nine minute
mark of the
third later
Spencer got
his second
of the game
as he
flicked the
puck under
the cross
bar from
close in on
a nice feed
from Cole
Goossens.
Ryan Eyre
was also
awarded an
assist on
the play.
Ryan Eyre
finished off
the scoring
for the Jr.
Sting as he
hit the top
shelf on a
break-away
from Cole
Goossens and
Beynon
Jonas.
This was
not a
typical game
for the home
team as
Oakridge was
penalized
for a total
of 32
minutes (28
of those
minutes in
the third)
while Sarnia
spent only 4
in the Box.
Spencer
Baillie was
awarded the
coach’s
player of
the game and
the goal
tending duo
of Stevie
Schaefer and
Cam Stevens
was awarded
the parents
puck.
Sarnia is
on the road

when they

Warriors at
