The Sarnia Braves and Troy Jet Box from Detroit Michigan went 9 innings in CanAm Baseball League play on Monday night at Errol Russell Park.  The Braves came up short and took a 10 - 7 loss.

Jeff Jones pitched six innings for Sarnia striking out 6 and allowing 6 runs on 9 hits.  Alex McLean pitched three innings striking out 2, allowing 4 runs on 5 hits and walking 2.

At bat Justin Randal hit a homer and two singles.  Wade Babula hit a double and single and  Mike Damchuck hit a triple.  Others at bat hitting singles were James Grant, Jeff Randall, Tyler Young, Randy Thingstad and Lance Hart.

The Braves are back in action on Wednesday July 4 when they host the Windsor Athletics at 7:30 at Errol Russell Park.
