Sarnia Braves Men took a Double Loss against Tecumseh Jr.'s

Playing in Courtright the Sarnia Braves hosted the Tecumseh Jr.'s in CANAM League action on Sunday and came up short in both games. 

In the first game Tecumseh took a 3 - 0 win.  Scored was tied 0 - 0 after 7 innings of play sending the game into extra innings where the Jr's scored the 3 runs.
 

Sarnia had just 1 hit in the game and 0 errors.  Tecumseh had 8 hits and 1 error.  Matt Liberty pitched 4 innings allowing 4 hits, 1 walk and striking out 1.  Nick Baljeu went in for 3 innings allowing 1 hit and striking out 2.  Anthony Shephard went in for 1 inning allowing 3 hits, 3 runs striking out 1 and walking 1.
 

Wade Babula earned the single hit for the Braves.

 

In Game 2 Tecumseh scored 1 run in the first inning, 1 in the third and 2 in the seventh to earn the 4 - 1 win.  The Braves lone run came in the third inning.

Sarnia had 4 hits and 2 errors, Tecumseh had 8 hits and 0 errors.

Joel Ainsworth pitched for 1 inning allowing 1 run & 1 hit.  Alex McLean pitched for 4 innings allowing a single run and 4 hits and striking out 5.
Rory Fell came in for 2 allowing 3 hits, 2 runs, striking out 1 and walking 1.

At bat Wade Babula hit a triple and a single and Alex McLean and Keegan Brandon each batted singles.

The Braves are back in action on Saturday July 28 when they travel to Petrolia in Western County Legaue action.
