Two Sarnia Braves were
selected in the Major League
Baseball first year player
draft on Wednesday.
Both current Sarnia Brave
pitcher Jake Marks, and
former Sarnia Brave
outfielder Julien Service (
now living in Whitby, Ont. )
were among the 26 Canadian
players selected in the 2012
MLB draft.
Service was selected by the
Baltimore Orioles in the
21st round ( 642nd ) and
Marks was selected by the
New York Mets in the 28th
round ( 860th ) of the 40
round draft.
