Tough Loss for Esso

June 27th Esso vs. Paton Controls.
In Sarnia Men's Industrial Soccer league U35 action Paton opened the scoring 15 minutes into the game, when an unmarked Paton player put the ball into an open net to give Paton a 1-0 lead. The game was a battle in the midfield with neither team really getting a quality chance. The half time Whistle blew with the score 1-0.
In the 60th Minute Paton went up 2-0 which Paton player beat Stu Jodrell short side. In the 89 minute a Paton player made a nice chip shot to seal the deal for Paton. Final Score was 3-0.
This was a tough loss for ESSO against a very talented Paton Control team, ending ESSO’s three game winning streak.
Next up for Esso is a game against City Centre Car Wash on Wednesday July 4th @ Germain #1, Kickoff is slated to start @ 6:30 pm
