In the
first
round
selection
(36th
overall)
the
Hockey
Club has
selected
forward
Nikolai
Goldobin
with its
first
round
selection
(36th
overall)
in the
2012 CHL
Import
Draft.
Goldobin
a native
of
Russia
played
last
season
with
Russkie
Vityazi
Chekhov
of the
MHL
(Russian
Jr.
League).
In 50
games
last
season
Goldobin
scored
13 goals
and
recorded
22
points.
Eligible
for the
2014 NHL
Entry
Draft he
was
recently
selected
8th
overall
in the
2012 KHL
Draft by
Metallurg
Novokuznetsk.
Beaulieu
is
confident
that
Goldobin
will
report
to
Sarnia.
