Best fires perfect game; Ramsayís 790 triple is high

                Bill Best was at his best in the Tuesday Night Menís League at Marcin Bowl as he tossed his second career perfect game to take the high single honours in Sarnia 10 Ė Pin bowling action this week. He accomplished the feat in his second game of the night on alleys 21 & 22 and finished with a 758 (245-300 Ė 114 pins over average) triple.
 

                Dennis Ramsay rolled 790 (268-264-258) in the Marcin Monday Night Menís League to take the menís high triple honours.

 

                Pam Marciniszyn recorded 730 (279-269) in the Marcin Thursday Night Mixed League to take the womenís high triple honours.

Dan Chopp fired 779 (245-268-266) in Marcin Border City Menís League rivalry. The menís top scores were Shawn Myers 597 (237), Joe Simmons 559 (198), Ian Nickels 540 (202) and Ted Loxton 198.                 In Airey Lanes Ladies Thursday Happy Hour League activity, Lori Tapp tossed the high single 187 while the high triple 476 was shared by Bev Rankin and Sharon Scott. Team standings are Diís Ring 143, Crown Jewel 129, Fluttering Butterfly 110, Bleeding Heart 100, Star Burst 96 and Purple Petals 94.

 

                In Airey Lanes Sunday Night Mixed League play, the ladies high single 195 belonged to Terra Hobbs while Michelle Fraserís 528 was good for the high triple. On the menís side, Albert Peters rolled the high single 199 and Bill Crumb took care of the high triple with 519.                 In Marcin Tuesday Mixed League action, the ladies top scores were Sharon Seguin 511 (184) and Julie Beaudoin 488. The menís top scores were Rolly LeBlanc 641 (224), Joe Bourgeois 597 (213) and Mason McCarthy 579 (206). The Provincial 10-Pin Bowling Tournament will be held at Windsorís Rose Bowl Lanes, May 12-27.
