Petrolia, ON - The Petrolia Squires narrowed the gap with a 5 - 3 win over the Tavistock Royals who leads two games to one in the best of seven series.

Mitch Zavitz scored 2 goals for Petrolia in the win with James Edgar, Ryan Champman and Rob Vanwyseberghee each scoring singles.  Tyler Townsend scored 2 for the Royals and Kevin Brenneman added the third goal.

Justin Day earned the with a total of 40 saves, Doug Groenestege in net for the Royals made a total fo 38 saves.

The series continues Saturday in Tavistock for an 8:30 puck drop.
