Sarnia, On – The Sarnia Sting have announced that both Alex Galchenyuk and Nail Yakupov are expected to be in the lineup for the Sting on Friday night when they open up their first round OHL Western Conference series versus the Saginaw Spirit.
 

This will mark the first time this season that the two highly regarded prospects for the 2012 NHL Entry Draft will be in the lineup together for the same game.

 

Yakupov has been sidelined since March 10^th after suffering an upper body injury against the Owen Sound Attack.  Galchenyuk who made his regular season debut on March 14^th dressed for two regular season games but left the game on March 16^th versus London with an upper body injury.

 

Both players have resumed full contact practice with the team earlier this week and are slated to be in the lineup Friday night.

 

The Sting and the Spirit open up their first round series Friday night at the RBC Centre in Sarnia with puck drop set for 7:00 pm.

 

Tickets remain available for all home games in the first round match up as well the Sting will be sending a fan bus to Saginaw on Saturday night.
