The
Sarnia Pacers had a pair of road
games facing the top two teams
in the Far West Division
(London) and Mid West
Division (Elora).
On
Friday the Pacers were in London
and lost by a score of 11 - 3.
London scored two goals in the
first, six in the second and
added three more in the third to
tally 11 goals. Sarnia
scored two in the second and
added a single in the third.
Chad Zonneville, Liam Wright and
Connor Wright scored for the
Pacers. Justin Matthews
took the loss in net.
On Saturday the Pacers traveled
to Elora and suffered their 11th
loss of the season. Sarnia
led 5 - 3 after the first
period. In the second Elora took
a one goal lead after scoring
seven goals and Sarnia added
four more to total nine to end
the period leadin the Pacers 10
- 9. In the third Elora
added four and the Pacers scored
a single to end the game with
Elora taking the win with a
final score of 14 - 10.
Dan Charlton and Conner Smith
each scored three goals each,
Kevin Conroy added two and Cody
Ross and Ben Tamming each scored
singles.
Justin Matthews was in net
making 52 saves, Nate Lawlor
earned the win with 44 saves.
The Pacers are back at home on
Wednesday when they host London.
Game time is at 8:00 pm at the
Clearwater Arena.
