Sarnia, On - The Sarnia Beavers
are now 3 - 2 for the season in
the Ontario Jr B Sr Mens
Lacrosse League with a 15 - 13
win over the #1 St. Catharines
Saints who were undefeated
heading into this game.

are starting to gel together and
play a lot better, and we beat
the first place club."
said head coach Gord Neely
After the first period of play
both sides were even with four
apiece. In the second the
Beavers pulled ahead scoring 8
goals, the Saints scored 5 to
end the second with Sarnia
leading 12 - 9. In the
third Sarnia added another 3
goals and the Saints fought back
but could only score 4 and time
ran out giving the Beavers the
win.
Jamie Pillon, Colin McDowall and
Michael Fleming each scored
three goals in the win, Kevin
Fines scored two and singles by
Chris Davey, Jeff Sauve, Brian
Quinn, and Nick Trudeau.
Goalie Danny Walters earned the
win in net for the Beavers.
"We
played good defence tonight and
our goaltender played
exceptionally well." said Neely
"The guys are starting to
believe in themselves and in
what we are trying to do, it's
coming."
The Beavers are back on the road
on Sunday as they head Norwood
for an afternoon game at 4:00
pm.
