The Lambton Jr. Sting Bantams travelled to Sun County and came away with a well earned point.
The Panthers would get the early jump on the Sting scoring two power play goals in the first period to take a 2- 0 lead. The Sting would finally find their skating legs in the second and began taking the play to Sun County.
Isaac McLean's power play goal cut the lead to one with a one timer in the slot off a nice feed from Alec Dekoning . Brock Perry would also assist on the goal.
With the Sting playing short handed Ryan Greenaway would find a wide open Brock Perry who would bury a highlight reel goal to tie the game at 2 going into the second intermission.
That would be all the scoring as teams exchanged chances but both the Sun County netminder, and the Stings Anthony Hurtubise would put up a wall to preserve the tie.
The Bantam team now get ready to face two more division foes next weekend in the Windsor Spitfires and the Elgin Middlesex Chiefs.
